Potting Mix for Rooted Cuttings and Plant Starts

Lucky Dog^® Growers Blend comes right out of the bale with soil microbes that may enhance root efficiency. This can provide more opportunity for nutrient availability and may increase fruit and flower production.

Use Lucky Dog^® for rooted cuttings and young plant starts for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Plant directly into Lucky Dog^® Growers Blend.

How To Use:

Container Gardens:

Place enough potting soil into the container so that the root mass is positioned at the correct height.
Fill in around root mass up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) from top of pot.
Press gently to secure plant, water thoroughly and let drain.
Do not pack too tightly. Add more if necessary with settling.

Houseplants:

Water thoroughly after planting.
Feed regularly.

Trees, Shrubs and Roses:

Select a container 2-3 times the diameter of the plant’s root mass and 3-6 inches (7.5-15 cm) deeper.
Place enough potting soil into the container so that the root mass is positioned at the correct height.
Secure plant in place while adding more potting soil around the root mass until the container is almost full.
Press firmly around perimeter of the plant and water thoroughly.
