How to Use
NEW CONTAINER PLANTS
Mix 1 Tablespoon per gallon of soil at the time of planting. For future fertilizing, see instructions for “Established Container Plants” below.
NEW IN-GROUND PLANTS
Apply 1 Tablespoon per gallon of soil. Work into soil to a depth of 6-8 inches. Water thoroughly. For future fertilizing, see instructions for “Established In-Ground Plants” below.
ESTABLISHED CONTAINER PLANTS
Apply 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height. Scratch into the top few inches of soil and water thoroughly. Pull excess fertilizer away from base of plant. Fertilize twice per growing season, 3-4 months apart.
ESTABLISHED IN-GROUND PLANTS
Broadcast 1 Tablespoon per foot of plant height evenly around foliage canopy. Work gently into soil and water thoroughly. Pull excess fertilizer away from base of plant. Fertilize twice per growing season, 3-4 months apart.
Garden Tips
Supplement with FoxFarm Big Bloom® Liquid Plant Food Concentrate from the beginning of fruit development through harvest. Help conserve water and nutrients by mulching your garden with FoxFarm Original Planting Mix.
Make a tea for deep root feeding: Add 1 cup of Happy Frog® Acid Loving Fertilizer per gallon of fresh water. Mix thoroughly and let stand for 24 hours. Strain solids out and apply tea at 1-2 cups per plant. For larger plants apply 2-4 cups of tea. Mulch the solids around the root zone of established plants.
